Founded in 1976, by Clemson University engineering graduates Don Looney and Dan Derrick, Jaderloon is one of the largest manufacturers of greenhouses in North America and a leader in product innovation.  Jaderloon manufactures greenhouses ranging in widths from 8  to 42 feet. Whether you want a small hobby greenhouse, school greenhouse, or several acres of greenhouse, Jaderloon can supply it. 

In 1997, Jaderloon expanded its product base by acquiring Metro Nursery Vehicles (now Met Carts) near Fort Worth, Texas. The new plant manufactures nursery carts, wagons and greenhouses.

Where did the name Jaderloon come from?

To name the company, Don and Dan wanted to choose something that would be unique. The name Jaderloon had originated while they were at Clemson to name their living quarters. They used letters from the three roommates last names, Jager/Derrick/Looney.

1986  Carolina Coolers introduced

2000  Don Looney, President and CEO of Jaderloon of Irmo, receives U.S. Patent for "Covering Mechanism for Greenhouse".

2006  Jaderloon celebrates its 30th Anniversary.
